    Chris King headset?

    can someone confirm for me that the correct CK headset for my Mach 5.7 is the inset #2? thanks.

    Not sure which link you're looking at for that Inset# but you just need to order the 44mm upper & 56mm lower inset.

    I just put one in mine and yes it is the Inset 2.

    Yep, the older frames without a tapered head tube will use a 44mm upper & lower cup. Tapered head tubes are 44/56 (for our frames anyway...).

    If you follow the link Inset 44

    You can see there is an option for 1 1/8 forks, and tapered 1 1/8x1.5 forks. So you can still run tapered forks on the older style frames.
