Anybody try a TALAS on their Mach 6?

Just wondering if there would be any negatives. Would be nice to put it in 130 for long climbs, turn the knob at the top of the hill so you have 160 the rest of the way. I ran a TALAS years ago and it worked flawlessly on a Titus Switchblade. Maybe a slight weight penalty, not much at all.

I have one on my mach 6, love it for the long climbs. I haven't found any downside. I'm running the fox 34 2014 model

I had a TALAS on my old bike, but never used the feature. I could see it being a plus for certain smooth climbs, but I would get a lot of pedal strikes if I dropped it to 130 on the Mach 6. My local trails are more quick ups and downs, so not the ideal place for a TALAS.

Yeah I have an older 26" 2012 Fox 36 talas on my mach 6 - 120 - 160 and love it. The bike really peddles like an xc bike in 120 mil mode ..I use it all the time.
