    650b on front of 5.7

Has anyone put a 650b on the front of a 5.7? If so what are your thoughts on how it performs and what did you do to compensate on the setup?

    Not a 5.7, but a Firebird 160.

    Here is the thread: http://forums.mtbr.com/650b/650b-fro...ml#post9344583

By the way, even though there are some advantages to the 650b front, I go back and forth between the two sizes. I spend a majority of the time on the 26 wheels, especially since I bought carbon Havens a few months back. Lost 1lbs 10oz with carbon wheels and the acceleration, including uphill, is incredible! For less than 15 mile fun, super techy, climb and huck on the way down rides I prefer my 26 carbon; Longer all day climbing less hucking days I like the 650b.

I had a Crest 650b on a 5.7C and a Revelation fork set at 140. At 150 there was severe wheel flop on climbs and tight turns. At 140 it was very nice with a Neo Moto 2.3 and RaRa 2.25.
