    429 Carbon weight?

Has anyone weighed a 429 C yet? Not sure why it's so top secret.

I'm wondering the same thing. I can't help but wonder if it was a real lightweight, someone would have noted it in the reviews that have been posted already. I've read that it's stiffer, funner, and even "flickable". But the only mention of the weight is that it's .375 lbs lighter than the original (somewhat heavy for it's class) aluminum version.
Don't get me wrong, it's still on my short list, but between the mystery weight issue and the limited rear tire clearance that has been an issue in older models, the Santa Cruz TBc and the "mythical" Ibis Ripley are strong competitors.

My aluminum medium 12 weighs 6 1/2 with shock and collar, no bb. so about a 1lb heavier and much stiffer than my old Tallboy that I broke twice.
