    429 carbon 1X11

Want to buy the 429 carbon 1x11.
Has anyone ridden one or even seen one?
What size rear cassette would be the equivalent ratio of the 2nd easiest ring on a 26er?
Any reason you would pass on this set up, other than price?

Yes, seen the set up. I'm a Shimano fan but am impressed with the XX1. Whether or not you should get it is a matter of how you ride IMO. While you have options to change out rings depending on the day's ride ( e.g 32 on big climbing days), you'll also need a different chain. Not a big deal in my book. As for ratio's, better you go here to get ratios with wheel size: Sheldon Brown's Bicycle Gear Calculator. Second ring on a cassette will have different amount of teeth depending on number of rings and spread (ten speed 11-34 or 11-36?). That and the ratio depends on what front ring you're running as well.
