    2012 Mach 5.7 Build

Hello everyone!! So I am finally building my first bike but I want to make sure all the parts that I have chosen will work properly with the frame. I picked up a 2012 Pivot Mach 5.7. Below is a list of parts that I was thinking of.

I will be using some of the old parts from my old bike also so I will list them first.

    Old Parts Transferring over

    -DT Swiss X430 Wheels
    -Kenda Nevegal 26x2.35 Tyres
-Hope Pro2 Front and Rear Hub
-Hope Tech X2 Front and Rear Brakes
    -Easton Monkeylite XC bars
-180mm Rotors in front and 160mm Rear
-Thomson Stem (forgot measurement) but should work
    -Old Saddle
    -Crank Bros 5050 pedals

    New Parts

-Thomson Elite InLine Seatpost 30.9mm 367mm
-Hope Seat Clam & QR 34.9mm
-Shimano SL-M780 XT Shift Levers - 10 Speed
    -Shimano XT M771 10 Speed MTB Cassette - 11-36
    -Shimano XT M770 E-Type 3x10 Front Mech 44t - Dual Pull
-Shimano XT M786 Shadow+ 10 Speed Rear Mech SGS - Long Cage
-Shimano XT M780 10 Speed Triple Chainset 165mm
-Shimano SLX HG74 HGX 10 Speed Chain
-2013 Fox 32 Talas 150 CTD Tapered (Or should I go with 160?)
-Hope Conversion Kits Pro 2 12mm Thru Rear
-Formula Mount Adaptor Front PM To PM 6" - 180mm
-Hope Pro 2/ Evo Front Hub Conversion Kit -QR Converstion Kit

I think the only thing that is missing is the headsets, I really don't know which one to get. Please help and thanks!

Thanks Chef but can you help me choose the size? My buddy told me I needed OD 46mm Top and OD 56mm bottom. No idea what OD means. I tried looking for a 46mm Top and no luck =/ I do like the 110.ZS56 Bottom.

Looking again the zs might fit. Maybe an expert will help out.
44mm ID upper cup and a 56mm ID zero stack lower cup on the 2011.

Looks food. If you could spring for the 34 or 36 fox you would benefit from the stiffness. Everything looks good.

The 34 and 36 comes with 160mm of travel, no 150mm. After reading Pivot site, they recommend using 150mm. I was really thinking of getting 160mm in a 34.

You can lower the 160 with a 10mm spacer.

There are plenty of Fox 150 forks for sale right now. I would go with F34 and lower it 10mm.

You are missing a dropper post. I would also swap the 430 rims(cheap version of the 400) for some Arch EX as you can keep the sames spokes. Icing on the cake would be a needle bearing for the lower shock mount.

Depending on your preferences, riding style and terrain, maybe you could consider xx1 chainset and xx1 chain, as you will have shadow+ rear mech. The chainset is not much more expensive than the XT chain set. What I have understood is that it would work well together. (If anybody thinks othervice please comment) You would loose quite much weight from the build and for me the 11-36 is enough for the trail riding that I do. With one chainring you could also get ZEE rear mech instead of XT and have more compact drivetrain.
