Shots from Yongpyong MTB Park, South Korea

After a few months of not touching my camera, I went out to the local downhill mountain bike park and walked around the mountain a bit. Snagged some decent shots, really happy with #11. I did struggle with shutter speed a little, was too slow at first, and then I had to raise my ISO to the limit of what I consider acceptable for good shots on my D7200. Also noticed my shutter speed is going to have to be higher than say a FX camera, which only makes the ISO limit worse. I think a D750 might be in my future. I'll be heading back out there sometime for sure!

Nice shots. D750 is a good body, but you might want to try a D500 too. The autofocus system is supposed to be more advanced, which is helpful for action shots.

Yeah, the D500 is awesome! It's so good. For anything in bright conditions, it's no doubt the camera I want. But for stuff in lower light, even in a forest on a cloudy day, you still can't beat the ISO performance of a full frame camera. Plus it's so cheap right now! I can mostly live with the fps and AF trade-off I think. I don't miss too many shots with my D7200, and the D750 is better than that. I don't know, it probably won't be until tax time that I get a new body anyway, so I have some time to think about it.
