    Panasonic FZ150/200 Reviews?

I'm in the market for a new camera - originally I was thinking about a DSLR but thinking I'd get more use out of something like a Canon SH50 or Panasonic FZ. Anyone using a Panasonic FZ 150 or 200? Both of these look like fantastic cameras. I plan on using it for vacations, nature, outdoors, occasional concert(maybe 2x a year). Thank you

I have a Panasonic FZ150 (and before that the Panasonic FZ18). It's certainly not in the same class as a DSLR but then it doesn't weigh as much either. I've had great success with both the FZ18 and FZ150 and it's the camera I carry when mountain biking, skiing, or hiking. It produces its best results at the wide end with some loss of sharpness and contrast at the extreme telephoto end -- which is typical of the superzoom class of cameras.

The newer FZ200 has a constant aperture across all zoom focal lengths - something neither the FZ150 nor FZ18 had.

The mtb and ski photos on my blog site were shot with the FZ18 and FZ150.
