Natural pics. No filter. No editing. Post your BEST!

Let's see your best unedited pictures. Sometimes people go too far with the editing tricks and they forget how beautiful the original picture really is.

I just snapped this picture today and it kinda inspired this thread. I just snapped this pic without any thought or care. I thought it came out pretty nice. I probably could have played with the picture a bit to make it "pop", but I decided that it looked perfect just the way it is.

My truck and biked framed by Mauna Loa and Hualalai. The morning sun provided the perfect lighting.

^It's getting harder to get an unedited image, what with shooting raw and all, it's in camera editing vs. post camera editing. Aside from all that , my current camera also corrects for the distortion and color fringing characteristics of the lens I have chosen. I still shoot on manual tho'.

I've switched to raw images too, so I'll interpret the barely edited as maybe just a touch of cropping and exposure adjustment.

^ I like that. The slow shutter gives a nice sense of movement to the fireworks.

Here's one I may have posted over in the OC Bird Thread (even though there is no bird here). I didn't post process this at all. I even left the spot from a dirty sensor.

Other than cropping, no editing involved, or color filter used of any kind (on camera, or in camera). Almost 2min exposure. Very early morning. Wilmington, NC.

I like them both. I had to look really hard for non edited photos. Pretty much everything gets processed before it makes it to the public.

I tend to enjoy the picture taking, but the editing is tedious to me, so I post all my pictures how they were shot. Call me lazy, but I have fun.

This is my favourite taken on a bike ride, it was the evening and the loch was like a millpond.

I can't resist posting another, this photograph looks like a watercolour, as if the clouds are painted on a canvas backdrop, but it is just what the camera captured that day.

Wow, this thread never got much traction, did it?!?
Got too many thousands of pics to say these are "best" of anything, just some favorites that were also easy to get to on Facebook.
I seldom do any form of editing, or even cropping. Downsizing doesn't do them an favors, though.
Nikon P310 in aperture priority 99% of the time. I'm pretty happy with it for a point-and-shoot.
This is a rare one that was taken in manual, the rest were in AP:

Guess I don't really get that, since I just assume most of them are only going to viewed online, downsized, and likely as not on the screen of a smartphone!
Besides, when I come back from a trip, I'm tired of fooling with the pics by the time I've weeded out the chaff. Mostly just take 3 or 4 of something if I want to remember it, then delete all but one...

great thread. mine are all humble smartphone pics, but if you have a cool subject matter, it distracts you from it's shortcomings.

I am old school, although from a photographic background, I have zero knowledge of how to use Photoshop or even own any editing software and no interest in learning.. I like most of the shots that have been posted above as they just look "naturally good"
