Some amazing pics in this thread! I get sunrise pics all the time, but it's always just a cell phone camera, since I'm on the commute. I need to pack a better camera around, but I never do... Some of them come out cool though. This was a few weeks ago on the commute:

Near Taos. It was a cold dark morning. Kinda scary walking up to the edge of a gorge in the dark. I figured that the darkest spot of the dark was the hole in the ground.

This is the reason I joined this forum and return almost everyday are the pictures and scenery that yall post. Sometimes the simple things in life bring me down to earth. These places actually exist..wow..beautiful. Thank you for taking the time to upload and share!
