Came across this review for a cheap action camera...

It seems pretty good for the money. Good video put poor on the audio.

Zomby, I have the SJCam M10* and am very happy with it. Only used it a couple of times and not on the bike yet. Kids used it heaps on a family trip at Christmas. I have little to compare to but I can't say I noticed the sound being an issue. I bought direct and after a little, initial concern with shipping I would recommend them. Emu, that's great to hear. I also saw the review on Seth's Bike Hacks and am considering it to have a second camera to go along with my GoPro. It seems to get good reviews everywhere I've looked.

I'm not concerned about audio at all myself. Just want a second camera to put on my bike or on my niece or nephew's helmets for skiing / biking.

Found this will looking for reviews for an rc car today. The high pitch whine is actually the noise of the car, not the camera and I suspect the "knocking" sound is the plastic body vibrating against the chasis.

The SJCAMs are actually quite good for the price. Most of my friends are using the SJ4000 on their bikes. The audio isn't all that bad actually and it can depend on where you place the camera or where the camera's mic is pointing. They have a new model out actually which is the SJ6 Legend that supports connecting an external mic if audio is really important.

I just got this no name Go-Pro clone for free, it sells for $50. The seller asked me to do a review. Once the review is up they put the money in my Pay-Pal. I've done that before for other sellers.

I had an ISwag that I tried for a while. It was not that bad, but it did have its faults. Off colors, and the gopro looking mounts that they gave you would not fit gopro mounts, and would break very easily. But it was not bad for a $20 camera. I had a video of it where I compared it to my hero 3+ silver. But it was an unfair comparison because of the mounting locations.
