    My 6-Pack - Manila, Philippines

Just wanted to share my 6-Pack to all Turner fans out there - which is ridden around the beautiful trails here in Manila, Philippines.

Not the best looking Pack but rides like a sweet dream...and for some strange reason, better than my 5 Spot... I will post trail pics soon.

MY PACK set-up: Medium w/ Fox RP3 - (but I also have a Romic & the Fox DH5 to toy around with); Marzocchi AM SL 150mm (6"); 2005 Easton Monkey Lite XC Bars; AVID Juicy 7 brakes on Goodridge Brake Lines ("the best brake lines anywhere !!!); XTR Cranks & Rear Derailleur; XT Front Derailleur; Mallet C pedals; Mavic F219 / CK Iso Hubs / Intense CC 2.25 tires; Thompson Seatpost & Stem; CK headset; Fizik Gobi Saddle; Computer is TOPEAK and a black incredibell.... all for 30 lbs 2 oz. (weighed using a RAPALA hanging digital scale - pic attached)

Hey Tscheezy, here's my bike bud... Emmanuel.

Sweet build - how is the AM SL?

I would venture a guess that your weight reading would go up slightly if you hung your scale from a more solid attachment point.
    Nothing to see here.

Not the best looking Pack? I'd say it's beautiful. The black/gray/silver build is understated and looks like pure business. Like a fighter jet.

Nice Rapala fish scale. That's what I use too

Very cool. Thanks Emmanuel. That is an impressive weight for sure.

So, is it hot and humid?

Hi SSINGA... I totally love the performance & plushness of the AM SL 150mm. For me, its the best and at only 4 lbs heavy. I noticed that in some of the other threads about shocks that the AM SL 150mm is not available in the USA. Is this true?

Here in Manila, all the AM SL's are 150 mm. As I said, I love the feel of this 6" fork. For me, it feels a lot more responsive & more plush thank the FOX 36 and Manitou Nixon combined. Of course, this is only my opinion. I also have the FOX Float RLC 130mm on my 5 Spot but to me, nothing beats the performance and plushness of Marzocchi especially the AM SL.

Regarding my scale, I tried your advise and hang that in a solid attachment and It still reads 30 lbs 2 oz.

...had a 'zoc Am Sl a few years back. Light for it's travel. If I recall, it was a bit tedious to set up - 3 air chambers w/ one (PAR?) requiring under 10 psi. Travel can be adjusted +/- 20mm on the neg chamber. It had a known rebound "clunk" issue if not set up right. But awesome fork once it's set.....

lol, i just realised how pre-iphone this thread is......
