    X-mas at Da mOOn

I didn't know x-mas was an all-year happening there. This place made me feel like a kid again and gave me that Kool-Aid smile. I also liked the bike trial areas.

Any weekend mtb gatherings there soon? Are you allowed to camp overnight?

PS besides the nicely decorated pine tree by the trail, is there a list of things to find on da moon.

Wednesday at six is always a sure bet. Noon on Saturdays and Sunday's is a good chance you'll find some Moon walkers.

According to our politicians, there is no money to run the camping or swimming areas at Moon Lake park, riding of course is on going including every Wednesday night. the X-mas tree is compliments of Security Gene and myself, that was a very cold day in January with lots of snow 2 years ago we dressed that little pine tree on Ledgeview trail. Ya never know what you will find at da mOOn... LOL

Closest camping would be at Ricketts Glen SP Rt 118 or Frances Slocum SP near Trucksville, Pa

Glad you enjoyed the X-mas tree and da mOOn

Man I find it hard to believe that those campgrounds wouldn't be packed during the whole camping season. Such a shame as I'd love to camp there for a week...closer than Little Pine too

    Wink

Yes I know, I donated both duckys...

...the one on the bridge on Farm Road and the other Ducky that you have to duck under on Ledgeview, just pointing that one out also since the question was asked of other features at da mOOn!

The American Flags and army guys are cool adds too...

I'll have to get a pic of the "Duck" on Ledgeview

There used to be a big green frog on the stump at the trail head, someone stole him, and the downed tree wrecked the stump!

Might want to add the old car buried in the weeds on Screamer and it's parts scattered around fender and hood are on Screamer.

There use to be a toy fire truck on TTS onto top of a stump, gone now

There is an old bicycle in the campground

Lots of old bottles/jars where one of the the old farm houses used to be.

Plenty of bicycle pedal reflectors in the rock garden on T-Rex2
