Good job! Wednesday Night Ride da mOOn 11/16/11

    Weather looks good again ...

.. not bad for November, so we Ride da mOOn this Wednesday night, meet at da Main Gate, 6 PM.

This week playing on the: NFS, Flume, 5858 loop since it's all clear and open again! What beautiful trails they are and a great area to ride also. A chance to get your winter riding skills tuned up. Haven't been down that way since early summer, probably hit trails after like Ledgeview to 8 and return.

    Ride da "NFS"
    "Never Fly Sideways"...

    Good job!

    Sure:

Lights are required now due to daylight savings, but it really expands your riding time by being able to ride at night and it's a heck of a lot of fun also!

    Dude...

DR6 was riding well last night, and I heard the week before he wore his leather chaps to the Judis Priest concert and he was miraculous cured!

I rode well for about the first 30-40 minutes and then I bonked, lesson learned I need to eat a good lunch if I expect to ride that night, I have been doing the diet shake thing for lunch the last Month, lost 10 pounds, but with almost nothing in me since breakfast I ran out of energy and was never able to recover.

As for the Concert Thin Lizzy was the opening act, I allways wanted to see them, "The Emerald" was anazing!
Next was Black Label Society, Zakk Wyldes is an amazing guitarist.
And then Judias Priest on what is likely his last world tour, being billed as his Epitath, he played for over 2 1/2 hours and put on a hell of a Metal show.

    Good job!

    Not to mention Chriffer...

... led the ride at a very high pace and trails that lended themselves to much climbing, I found myself ripping up stuff much faster than usual! I guess Chriffer has us all on a training program!

I can say it's great when he leads as his rides offer many different views of the trails...
