Unofficial Moon Lake Workday 11/14/09

Planning some work on the freeride trail on Saturday. We'll have at least two people, most tools will be available but bring some if you want (pick axe, rake, shovel, saw, coffee, back hoe). We'll keep going with the existing trail but need help with some of the go-arounds, beginner/intermediate features, and the giant hampster wheel. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I'm planning on being there around 8:30 but I still can't find my keys.
Lee, if you have a chance can you please make a copy? I'll reimburse you whatever it cost.
Jeff, I think the hamster wheel is a joke but who knows???? Anyhow, we really can use the wood. Let me know where/when we can arrange a pick up.

    Good job!

    Finus:

    "Got Keys"

You know the service rd that goes past Plan B is now open. We did that the other day so if you have a pickup you can get the wood to Plan B or down from NFS like you were doing.

I hope we see the Gator soon as that rig will make this building much easier!

Do you think my Subaru will make it up to Plan B from the service road? I can't remember exactly where it is off of 29, can you explain? That will end up being way easier now that we've pretty much moved down that far. Thanks.

    Good job!

    Finus:

Yes, I can get you there!
We will talk Saturday morning in person.

    PM sent also!

    Update 11/13/09

    Finius:

I'll be there a bit after 8AM. I received permission to use the Multi use trail to get you nearer to the FR stuff so you don't have to hike stuff by hand all the way out!

    Good job!

Moon Lake Free Ride trail closed for the season

... and many thanks to all who worked very hard to make it successful.

Have no fear the elves will be busy preparing for spring 2010

Of course the rest of MLP's 25 miles of XC trails are open all year for your riding, hiking enjoyment!
