Anyone know if Jim Thorpe is at all rideable? I know they haven't gotten as much snow as Philly, but I wasn't sure if the trails were still covered or not. Trails around here will be swamps for some time, and thinking with all the rocks, some of those trails might be dry enough to ride.
Any insight would be appreciated.
We have about 6 inches here with drift (Lehighton). Some of the rail trails may be packed down and rideable..maybe? Other than that, I haven't been out. Let me know if you hear anything more, since I'm stuck at home on spring break with nowhere/nobody to ride with!
I was wondering this myself- a few weeks ago when I went up I did Broad Mountain loop and like 70% of it was sheet ice, which suuuuucked. I spent most of my time shuffling my feet across vast expanses of super slickness.
