    Update

    All,
We did a ride thru yesterday.. How could you not, it was perfect weather for a ride..
The corkscrew is demolished and so are the ramps at the pine ridge trailhead..
But that is it, the dozer seemed to stop their,
The TRAILS beyond were untouched, it's an easy walk/ride.
Wanted to throw this out there for those who once enjoyed these parts.

I went out Saturday afternoon. It's shocking to see the devastation @ pine ridge. Really sad, but at least they haven't killed all of it. yet.

it depends on where you want to start. you could pick the trail up behind swarthmore, but the trail is rocky, rooty and quite technical, which could be fun or not, depending on your skill level. The bulk of the singletrack is in Smedley park. there are some wicked climbs, treacherously rooty sections and areas with great flow. you've gotta dig around to find the trails, they're not marked & it's not quite obvious that they're there.

Yea that is what I'm used to riding. Belmont to camelback to wisk, I ride everywhere. I just never knew there was a trail behind swarthmore. I'll check it out soon.

do some exploring on strava to find the trail. to connect from Swarthmore to Smedley, you need to cross a road & bridge to the other side of Crum Creek.

If anybody is interested I might go out tomorrow and or Sunday. I'm trying to get down to white clay time permitting .. Regardless I plan to ride one Swarthmore at some point this weekend since it's 2 secs from my house.

I might be down if it doesn't rain too much. Otherwise, I'm going to the Endurance Sports Expo in Oaks, instead.

I thought I had already posted this, uncertain if anybody has been back on the pine ridge, they finally demolished the remaining jumps.... happened about 3 weeks ago..
Actually in my opinion, it's more dangerous with the way they left it then when it was maintained by the riders...

So... are any of the Swarthmore/Crum Woods/Smedley trails worth riding anymore?
