Bring your bike, fiishing pole, hiking boots, however you want to get out and enjoy this great park.
Shoe is happy to do the grilling, while we enjoy the trails and work up an appetite.
Picnic will be held on the Deacon, by the picnic table, park at the lot and ride if you know where it is, or park off the road at the old entrance to the Deacon if you need to carry anything in., there will be baloons at the trailhead off the main road.
Please bring a dish / food with you, ride and have a good time.
It is starting at 1. I am really excited now, nobody told me that there was going to be balloons! Wyatt, I hope you can make it!!! I just can't handle it anymore if you push me down...I bruise easily!!! LOL!!!
Sorry about that, I wasn't sure myself, thanks Moto, the original invite was a post kinda hidden in one of the ride reports by Joan, and I talked to her last night near the end of the ride, and told her I don't think anyone really seen it, we were trying to work out details while still riding, one of them was BALLOONS

Great Food, Great Rides, Great Friends, lots O fun at the mOOn once again!
Thanks to everyone who supported and enjoyed the day at our fav trails. It was nice to see so mamy come out for another MTB picnic at the mOOn. Many rides were led and everyone enjoyed the trails. The "8" and Ledgeview trails are really beginning to flow out and allow speed to be carried at a higher pace, I guess you just have to try them to see the results. Lots of talk about future events and races were heard and everyone is really excited about the season of riding at mOOn.
With the local media attention from the Suburban News, new faces visited and inquired about trails and the NEPMTBA rides in the park along with "how nice the park is" We continue to hear positive comments of the mileage of trails and the ability to really get in a great ride using many different loops, thus keeping the mix fresh each time one rides the park. With 20 plus miles of trails that are designed to flow and benefit the mt bike rider the experience lends itself to an enjoyable event that etches a fond memory of just how much fun one has without riding over the same trails, or the same trails in a different direction.
A new rider can use the outer perimeter loop and get the sample of the parks best trails like T-Rex 2 and Screamer that provuide max flow and thrills of downhill excitement. This prolly sounds like a sales pitch, but when you have trails this nice and everyone keeps saying "hey lets ride Screamer or T-Rex 2 on every ride you just have to believe that these are the favs and even Buddy and Daisy dogs agree!
Thanks to Joan, Shoe, and Buddy for hosting the picnic and all the food others brought, includung KneeChucks very own grill,
