Sunday 1/20....Very Sunny....

....Very WIndy....Very Warm.....After hearing from riders who rode at Frances Slocum on Saturday decided to give it a try Sunday up on the Mountain.....snow was slushy, soft....and only at the highest elevations was it crispy and crunchy....we did hit some drifted areas with maybe a solid 4 inches of weathered snow....but all in all turned out great.....first ride of 2013 for a few of us....we have been skiing mostly....good to get back out on the bikes....Ride On!

....to be careful on roots....and when you were on the downhill....any moment you could end up down on the ground....I was running Nevgals up front and a Specialized The Captain Armadillo Elite on the back...hooked up well....
