    Spring gobbler

Just a reminder spring gobbler starts on May 3. The first two weeks are from dawn to noon and last two weeks are all day. I'd advise people to avoid state game lands during these times and shift recreation to other legal areas. The PGC officers are most often out during May after being behind a desk all winter and looking for every opportunity to get outdoors. Lets not erode any relationship with them now or in the future by being stupid. Ride smart.

Good post. It's also good to remember that riding on State Game Lands is forbidden except on designated trails.

By the way, thanks for posting this as I was unaware of the spring gobbler specifics. I'm sure they'll try and make it even more complicated in the future.
