Spencer Martin Memorial Bike Ride for Habitat 2010

Who's riding this? I drove the course a few days ago and it doesn't look bad. I'll have to throw some slicks on the mtb though. My roadie is only a SS and it's a fairly hilly 30 mile ride.

I'll be there, probably won't get around to throwing on some less-nobby tires but I'll make it through. It will be a pretty ride if the weather holds out.

Good deal kish! I'm finding it odd that nobody else has responded. Am I to believe nobody else is doing this one?

Yeah same. I few of my buddies are doing it but they will be on their fancy road bikes.

My roadie is anything but fancy. Just a straight forward ss with a 20 riser bar on it. I'm not a fan of drop bars, even on a roadie. I'm not sure it's got enough gear to make some of the climbs on this route.

You should be fine, I live back by penn state and I ride the roads alot on a mountain bike if I am not feeling a trail ride. No real killer climbs.
