    Snow!

Just thought this picture was really neat! Taken on Sunday at the Danville trails behind Geisinger. Also a tribute picture to NEPMTBA. Hopefully the white stuff doesn't get to bad this year!

Thought for sure we (northeast Ohio) were gonna get a coating this weekend when the temps dropped. Glad it waited a couple hundred miles east to let go. I feel your plight man. Nice shots.
People wait for me on the way up. I wait for them on the way down.

    Good job!

    That's dedication my friend!

    No rake necessary! Just RIDE!

I think I saw an XTR derailer in the back window of Gary's Rolling Mt Bike parts store behind the Industry Nine wheelset to the left of the NEPMTBA sticker!

Nice to see you had fun in the fluff!

So, where does the White go when the Snow Melts?

We actually had to relocate the ride. The first place we went to had about 4 inches of snow and was showing no signs of stopping. Hope you have a good winter of riding out there!

unfortunatley i didn't get any good shots. i was falling on my ass to much to pull out the camera. here's some of my hounds, snow and cannonball.
by the time we finished there was 3-4 inches of pow and we walked anything uphill greater than roughly 4%.
i'm on my way back out there in a few minutes. this time with the boards.

Good job! We got about 5 or 6 inches up in Mountain Top.....

So we cancelled the ride. GOt my wife, one of her friends, and daughter out for a trail run in the morning. Followed up with 3 hours of Trail Maint. in the afternoon. It was great to be outside in the snow. Can't wait to backcountry ski. Ski On!

    Good job!

    Jeff:

How much is on the ground now? Thinking of doing some riding there. Even 6 inches is ok with the 29er with 2.55s. No ice under it yet! But, skis are ready to go incase.

Happy Turkey Day to you and all!

    condition update

    jeff,
went out skiing last night on the new trail we put in that connects white gold. 15 inches of fresh in spots with at least 10 inches everywhere else. mid winter conditions before turkey day! wasn't even that heavy of a snow. as one famous trail builder said

    "we stole one"

you would have loved it. that place is an entirely different ecosystem.

Steve and I rode the Mt Top trails Sunday morning. We were supposed to head down to French Creek, but the weather changed our minds for us. During our ride there was a couple of inches already on the ground and it was still coming down. Cold feet made for a short ride. I ordered a pair of toestie shoe covers. I hope they arrive before this weekend.
