In Scranton for 2 weeks anyone up for rides

So I nailed a job and blew off grad school. I head to Scranton tomorrow (Tuesday Oct. 2), I am on my own until I start work Monday Oct. 8th. So I can ride anytime Oct 3-7, and after work Oct. 8th- 13th (as long as its not a Friday the 13th, I havent' checked my calendar).

I ride a HT 29er. I got my head rocked back in April but am making my way back to where I was when it happened. This summer I have ridden in Montana a lot, Virginia a little, and on the drive back in Moab and Fruita. I don't mind getting my ass kicked as long as I don't go out looking to get my ass kicked on the trails.

I want to ride, any takers or suggestions for yocal/ local group rides during the week?

Iíll be staying up in *****on City next week until the middle of November. Since Iím driving up from Virginia I plan on bringing my bike with me. As long as you guys donít mind waiting for an ďolderĒ person who lives in the flattest part of Virginia Iíll see you on one of the Thursday night rides.

Also, since I'll be without family I can pretty much ride most evenings. So if anyone does more riding through the week and don't mind a tag-a-long let me know.

Are you kidding? You think I don't know the rules?

I have a custom built bike I did myself from scratch. A 2006 S-Works with the full 2007 XTR package. I've got the gear, now all I need are the skills.

    Good job!

    Larry:

You might have scared him away!

You never told him Why 29er are not allowed even though I ride a few, but not at the same time, as this would cause you to think you know what I said but, not what I meant to say, other than the fact I was thinking about telling you exactly what you wanted to hear............

well I didn't get scared away, I actually just made a trip down south for a new ride. I found a deal on a sweet Next full suspension bike with 26" wheels. I didn't want to be the odd ball, ya know?

I will be back up there on Sunday though.

I can't tonight, I wish I could but I have to pick up a friend from the airport at 17:00. Do you guys have any weekend rides planned? I saw the Elk Mountain ride but that looks more family oriented?
