    Roaring Creek....MayDay..MayDay....

....Perfect conditions at Roaring Creek today....someone has been busy working the trails there into fantastic condition(thankyou!)....had not been there since last year....some new bridge work and signage....as well as a huge Weiser State Forest Station where the old parking lot at the top of the mountain used to be located....love riding the "aggregate" rock trails....."Roman" roads....and numerous rock overs.....

It was was an excellent ride Jeff. Glad we could hook up one last time before you're off to Mass.

EDIT ^Clipless: No. But they're making good progress. The buildings are complete on the exterior, concrete sidewalks are in, but a fair bit of site work remains. If it were a normal project, my guess would be 4-6 weeks, but given that this is a DCNR project I won't venture a guess. I thought they might be creating a left turn lane going south on 42, as that's a pretty questionable turn coming around the sharp corner, but haven't done anything yet.

If this is where I think it is (closer to Rt 42 side),I wish I could conquer those rocks someday haha. The only part of roaring creek that gives me a hard time hahah. I just can't find a line through there for some reason. I'll hopefully get out there some time this week looks like a great ride!
