    Sorry.....Roaring Creek in the Catawissa Pa area, near Mt.Carmel. It has been a watershed area for over 100 years. About 3 years or so ago it was opened up to Mt. Biking and hiking.

    Amazing area! There is no sign of trash anywhere! The trails are moss covered.

    [SIZE="4"]Great:

    We will have to do a ride together. How well do you know the area? What kind of bike did you get? I can't wait for the snow to melt to do more rides in that area.

    Short history: http://www.dcnr.state.pa.us/forestry/roaringcreek.aspx
    Good map here: http://www.dcnr.state.pa.us/forestry...aringCreek.jpg

    It used to be part of the the Wyoming State Forest, but the WSF has been renamed the Loyalsock State Forest.

    I rode Roaring Creek a lot when I lived in PA (before moving to GA about a year ago). Those are some of the best trails up there, absolutely love it every time I went.

    I live in Bloomsburg-I've been wanting to check it out, but we have too much fun on some of our other trails. My bud doesn't want to go until we have someone show us around, but I am itching to just go and explore! Any tips on where the good stuff is?!?

    Hey:

    The guys I rode with knew the area really well. The best stuff was on the opposite side of the Mt Carmel side of the mountain. I guess if I had to I could find my way around but it was nice have guides with a plan. It made it easier and more enjoyable.

    I will be doing more rides there in the spring watch MTBR for posting of this. Yourself as well as others are welcome to join us.
