Living 3 miles from Blue marsh I can tell you the trails will be a mixed bag Wednesday late afternoon we had a roll through it put down a lot of rain ,coming home from work at 11:30 pm last nite it was raining again from a thunderstorm. Are you going to ride the lower 23 mile loop or just a section.

Haven't decided yet... I know BM retains water. After todays storm I'm sure it's swamp-like out there.
Got any good tips on a loop? It's been about 10yrs since I last rode BM!

Depending when you guys go, I'm up for a group ride... although I might not be able to keep up since I'm just getting back into it (read I'm old and fat LOL). My son has soccer from somewhere around 11a to 1p or so, but after that or before that...
Either way I'm going to try and log some miles and will post trail conditions..
I just woke up and just got this message, so I won't be making it by 8:30am... sorry would have like to tag along. I'm going to try and go out Saturday afternoon... am Hopefully Sunday too if it ain't pouring rain...
The problem with BM being muddy is that it's normally so easy to blast around, so it'd be like 6-degrees of mud-spew as things bounced off the bike, me, the underside of my helmet, and the back of my glasses!
Yeah, my camel back was muddy and well you can imagine my legs and arms... I should have posted a pick of the other side, the RD and the cogs and such are completely mud caked... and thats after high speed run on the roadway to fling off the mud. The muddy conditions really slow me down... too much drag
