    RCST Bash! Who's coming?

Only a few more weeks and the best event of the year kicks off with the Rattling Creek Single Trackers annual Bash! Who's coming this year? PORC has a huge contingency coming over to throw down the gauntlet! Hope to see all of our old buds from the Baltimore area again this year. As usual, I'll be doing my BBQ's Habenero wings at 2:00 AM Sat PM after the band has quit! See ya'll there!!
BTW-A bunch of us are coming out on Thur this year so a Fri ride will be going on Fri AM ride at some point! (Thanks Keith)

Ha ha ha! That's a good one! I think after the Troeggs sampling that a Sat PM DERBY may be more appropriate! You are obviously not aware of my predisposition for riding bikes in a most insane manner after drinking too many beers! Let the fun a frivolity begin!

I doubt we will be able to walk from the band to the tent let alone get on a bike.

I'll be there Friday evening (hopefully early). Looking forward to it, this will be my first RCST bike bash. Any tips on stuff to bring (food, gear, etc)?

Yup, A good sense of humor and schedule flexibility helps! Advil is good for hangovers and rock crashes, Mug for drinking Troeggs unless you have a fondness for disposable plastic glasses, Antacid for the chili cookoff or if you venture into our camp for Habenero marinated PORC wings at 2:00 AM, Moist bummy wipes if you eat too many of those wings, ear plugs if you go to bed early or if you have a tent anywhere near mine. Keep in mind the camping area is 100 Yds away from the water and toilets. Your bike is a good thing to bring for sure. Typical primitive camping. This our 3rd year and we have NEVER had a bad time!

    See ya' there!

I think VMB (Valley Mountain Bikers) will have a nice group there. I understand we're even chipping in for a little extra brew.

Looking forward to meeting more new friends!
Stop by and say hi. I'll have the silver Tacoma with the cap.

Hey, Dan -- will you teach me some cyclocross skills??

And, as always, there's an open invitation if you guys are ever out our way (Allentown, Bethlehem). Just post something on our site (http://www.bikevmb.com) and we'd love to hook up with you for a ride on our local stuff.

    See ya' soon!
    Doug

I went 2 years ago. My first. Bought my first MT bike there from a friend of my fiance (she got me into it). Had a blast. I might go, but my fiance just started a new job, and will probably have to work.

I'm getting myself prepared. did a 22 mile ride today with the **** rock brigade; 14 riders showed up for the 7am ride. followed by a 6pack of Troegs pale ale. This year I'll have the legs, lungs, AND liver
