    really cant give details cuz no one really saw what happened . he was riding one of the easy trails at moutain creek . he says he was going a little to fast . went over one of the bigger rocks on breakout . that is all that is known . that is all he remembers . sorry that is all i can share .

    high speed == high energy

    high energy + impact == something gotta give

    hope he is doing okay, and healing up now.

    Sad to hear the event but good to hear that there were others to help him right away.

    That's one of things that concerns me when I ride alone. Wouldn't really care if I was a single but wife and 2 kids, that's different. Worst thing would be crash at dusk when not many people if at all around and no one find you till next day or longer while you are unconscious or couldn't move.

    Wish him quick and full recovery so he can enjoy the ride and other things again soon!

    Bob is one of the nicest guys I know. I don't ride with him often, but it has always been great when we do. I am so sad to know what he is going through right now.
    You better just go ahead and drop that seatpost down to the reflector... the trail gets pretty rough down there.
