Um, yeah -- in an effort to not take ourselves too seriously on the 4 hour ride (complete with 4,500' of climbing!), we had a lunch stop at the top of Sals.
Lehigh and Sals have been incredible this winter. With a lot of people "riding in" the snow, it was a packed powder ribbon for about 3 weeks! 25miles of singletrack snowpack, and this past weekend was most likely the last for a little while. Lets face it, with this crew of racers, to do a Lehigh-Sals-Lehigh loop in 4 hours at 20 degrees would mean a ripping pace that would require a hearty lunch. This was ri-gawd-damned-diculous...
