Unfortunatly in the NE Pa area, not at this moment; however Montage Mountain is planning to do at least a 1 chair, 3 slope course in the very near future.
At least that is what they were saying at the end of the ski season. I work up there during the Winter, so I'll try to find out a little more info if I can.

The nearest to this area that I can think of is Plattekill Ski Resort in New York.

Also try out Mountain Creek in North Jersey, supposedly a wicked freeride park. I need to get up there this summer.

Diablo is only about 80 miles from you, Plattekill about 160 and Whiteface about 350. I know there is camping right at or near Platty and Whiteface. Try Whiteface at least once, it's really big and lots of fun....

    John:

2 great places to hit are Ray's(Cleveland Ohio) and Mountain Creek(New Jersey) Both are worth the drive. Rays is open in the winter. I was there this past winter. It was a warm weekend and I got to ride the GT IT Wow ! Amazing bike! Ray is really cool he directed us to some trails around the Clevelend area.

Mountain Creek is the old standby! Diablo Freeride park is the place to be. We were there last year and the Favorite trail is Waterboy. I ride with 2 guys from Tunkhannock who I do Shock and Fork work for. Opening day this year is May 13th. I don't know what kind of bike you have, if it is a Pure Downhill then you will have to stick to the Chair lift places, but if it All Mountain or Freeride we have trails that are really cool, but you have to pedal some. If you need shock or fork work, rebuild, or setup I do all of the favorites as well as the really old stuff. Manitou, Rockshox, Marzocchi, Fox. I will post in the forum when we go if you would like join us you are welcome to.

    Ride on!

Send me a pm if anyone in NEPA wants to go to Platty or MC. I go to one or the other every weekend. This year I'll have a pass at platty. I kinda got sick of MC from the past 3 years. There's usually 2 or 3 of us that go. I'm going to the US Open in 2 weeks. If anybody else is doing it, let me know cause it's a 3 day event.
