There is a lot of riding available if you head closer to Pittsburgh or if you travel south into the Laurel Highlands. Check out the various state and county parks in your area. I ride Roaring Run in Apollo (Armstong Co.) a lot, there are some great trails there.

It is only minutes away from I 80, at the Rockton exit, they are some nice trails.

Hey there, I am from Indiana. I ride a lot up at Whites Woods and College Lodge (and beyond). Easy trails but also easy to get too.

Apollo is very close to town and a ton of fun.

About an hour away is Laurel Mountain. Same distance in the other direction is Moraine. Both of these places are nice and rocky.

IUP has a cycling club for mtb and road and I believe anyone can ride with them.
