Has anyone made the trip since the bridge closed? If so, did you get slammed in traffic? I am thinking of heading down Wednesday midday and wondering what I'd be in for and if I should avoid 95 altogether.
Midday you should be fine, but depending on what time you head back be prepared to sit in some traffic. I would check local traffic maps online before and during your trip. There are lots of other route options but nothing faster than shooting down 95 minus the traffic of course. You could always hit Brandywine Creek State Park and avoid that area altogether by getting off at Namaan's road just across the PA line in DE.
2 Sundays ago. Fine going down in the morning, a lot of traffic coming home. This is going to be a disaster if they don't get the bridge fixed but yes, there are other options.
Yeah, I guess I will try 95 on the way down and maybe rt 1 coming back. On a side note, does anyone know if the paper mill bike park exists yet, and if so, where exactly is it?
