    PA Bike Trip

A few of us our making our way over to PA to hit some trails in August. We definitely want to hit Allegrippis trail system, but are curious as to any other can't miss trails. We will be coming from Ohio, so not looking to go any further east than Allegrippis. Any advice?

Rothrock State Forest FTW. Go to purplelizard.com for maps.

Although, if you are within 100 miles of moon lake, you should probably go there and kiss nepmtba's stanky feet and genuflect to the almighty moderator.

    Good job!

    endo 2012:

Please ignore the nonsense, Moon Lake is further East than you wanna travel. I assume your traveling on RT 80, others will chime in to provide help to you, and there was a thread about the RT 80 corridor here on MTBR somewhere I will see if I can find it.

I'm thinking Kennerdell, Moraine SP, but you didn't mention how much time you have to ride, or type of terrain you like.

Don't know if you have seen this group from near your area of Ohio:

Riding in Western Pa, any good trails / groups?

Looks like NEPMTBA made a friend, look forward to seeing you two riding together on a trail in the future.

Wow, not sure what I walked into here, but sounds like you guys are having too much fun off the trails! Anyhow, thanks for the heads up on some of the trails Actually, we have to stop in Pgh to pick up a rider so we were thinking Moraine, but also were thinking about Laurel Highlands. We like fast flowy trails with some jumps, but I am also itching to try out some rocks at Moraine!
