    Newbie to Mt Bikes

    Hey everyone,
I dont have a Mt Bike yet but I would like to get into Mt Biking. Some of my friends from the North East directed me to this site. I am from PA so i thought I would start in here. Just looking for good info. Some good bike shops in the area would be helpful too.

    Thanks
    Cody

What town do you live in?

[edit] oops, checked the profile... it's Windsor. I can't help you but I'm sure others can.

    Hello and welcome!

Check your local bike shops for deals and it's always good to make friends with them as you will need them now and in the future for repairs and parts!

Let us know what kind of bike you get and how your first ride goes!

Thanks guys, Yea sorry I do live in Windsor right outside of York.

Talking with my friends from the NE that ride I think I might go with the Specialized HardRock for a starter bike.

    Hello

Hi and welcome to mountain biking! I am very new as this as well, but once you start, it's an addiction.

I am riding a Specialized Hardrock COMP. LOVE IT> it's a great starter bike.

Good Luck and let us know how your first ride goes!
