Join us at the Canal Street Pub in Reading, PA for the the east coast based mountain bike feature, From Where We Stand! The movie features trails and riders from the east and a segment devoted to Reading/Berks trails and riders. If you need lodging, we're working on a deal with Courtyard by Marriott and should have an update for you soon. If you're interested in riding that day, FWWS star and Reading mountain bike legend an BAMBA member Dane Clay will be leading a group ride on the trails of Mount Penn at noon starting at the Canal Street parking lot. Should be a blast!

I'm pretty sure it's going to be free to screen online. Here's a story about it.

This sounds like a cool event. I'm stuck with a Christmas party Saturday, and while there is a chance I could make the ride at noon, I'd give it slim at best. I'd love to make it, just get get an idea of the trail system, as my friends and I have been interested in checking it out. Are there any maps of the area online I'm missing? Going with a guide would be sweet, but this Sat is going to be a stetch.

    Ferg,

We're working on mapping the Mt. Penn trail system out in 2014. For now your best bet is to post up on the BAMBA FB page when you want to visit and check out the trails. Chances are a BAMBA member will reply and will hook you up.

Damn, it's getting closer and closer to me having to make a facebook page. I'll check it out. I've got Green lane park in my backyard, and have mainly explored the lehigh valley area, but looking forward to checking out Mt Penn too. Guess I'll get one of my buddies with facebook to try to work it out.

What's up with the group ride as far as the weather is concerned? Rain or shine?
