Good job! Moon Lake Park Eagle Watch

    Very exciting to see...

Moon Lake park has 2 resident eagles. They can be seen from the lake road by looking to the left of the house. There is a point of land sticking out with a few pine trees that the eagles perch in. Now is a great time to see them as the leaves are off the trees and the eagles brown feathers capped by the brilliant white head covering stand out well.

They can also be seen circling above Moon Lake looking for a meal and it quite a spectacular site to see.

I saw one of the Eagles again today. He took off not far from where I was standing and flew to the other side of the lake...what an impressive site! I tried to get over to where it landed, but it wouldn't pose for my camera. Must be shy!!!
