Moon Lake to be featured in Suburban news 4/3/10

Please join us this Saturday 4/3/10 as the reporter from the Suburban News will be at Moon Lake Park to do a feature story on NEPMTBA and the Mt biking at Moon Lake Park concerning the 20 plus miles of multi skill level trails at the park.

Also the NEPMTBA Wednesday night ride series continues into another season with lots of fun planned for 2010. All the trails are great as NEPMTBA has maintained them through the winter season. In 2009 Moon Lake Park was voted the favorite park in the area by Mt Biking America.

I can't wait to see the article in the Suburban News. The lady that interviewed us and took our pics also did the same with the R/C Flyers. The ride was pretty good...until my fat arse broke another seat!

What a great day for a ride!
I even ended up getting sun burned.
The second test of the GoPro HD camera, I still have some mounting issues, but I read about some fixes, so I'm sure it will only get better.

Buddy after playing in a swamp, he said he was in camo

    Camera mounted on my helmet

Camera mounted backwards, in what would be my favorite trail of the day.

Someone must have told Buddy to go jump in a Lake, and he did!

Handlebar mount, very shaky, I do have a fix though.

The base plate was loose causing vibration, shaking, and terrible audio, I watched a video on Utube explaining how to remedy it, and it looks like it will work, so next video will be a lot better. I really like the reverse one, it gives a whole different perspective on the trail.

Thats what you call Real Tree Camo!

    Good job!

    Just a little update...

...we met with the commissioners and they are working with us and others to work out all the bugs that come with doing businesss in a county. So don't believe all the BS that you hear. We have the story right from the source.

Thanks for the supportive resoponses and we have had lots of emails from all over the USA, Yes the mOOn is very well known. Thanks to Bryan G for getting the story in an upcoming issue of Dirt Rag! Just think a few years ago we didn't have a single trail at the mOOn to ride, now we have world wide recognition, Yes, going elsewhere was the correct thing to do, and approved by all the smiles of riders who ride the trails at the mOOn!

Thanks to all who make it so great!
