    Trail Conditions....

...were perfect....we started riding at about 48 F....quickly rose into mid 50's...shed headband and vest within the first hour of ride....Moto and Lee were at the park early putting the final touches on preparation of the Deacon Trials area and getting cookout and fire ready....

I wish I could have joined you guys today at the moon.

Instead I ordered one of the last few parts that I need for my new 1x9er hardtail 29er. Paint and assembly are in the very near future. I can't wait.

Oh and I got to crank out a good road ride today.

I try hard to come up with something snappy for the Tallboy Twins, but I didn't have any appropriately sized beer to hand out to accompany so I gave up.

You guys will have to do a long-term writeup after the winter. ;^)

    Moon Lake 11/14/10

Just have to say thanks to all for keeping the trails in great shape. Nice to finally meet some people. The gf and I had a great day. Dave, thanks again for showing us some of the other trails we weren't on before. We will definitely be up from Hazleton again. Hopefully more this year.

We had great time at the Moon. Dave was kind enough to show us all the trails and kept a good pace. He was like a machine. We had trouble keeping up. Mtnbiker64 is a lucky man to have his girlfriend riding mountain bikes. First time we rode with a woman that rode everything we did and did better than us. Jeff, thanks for snapping some pictures.

I was amazed how well the trails were maintained . We rode for 4 hours and only 5 minutes of riding was on trails with leaves. Everything else was blown off. Just amazing. Thanks for doing all that hard work. It was well worth 2hr drive. We will be back soon.

    Moon Lake

Hi Jeff, I am Chris the guy from Hubbard Mt, the one wearing the Hubbard jersey. It was a beautiful day yesterday and the trails are perfect and it was nice to meet some new people. I'd like to try a night ride there on Wednesday night. What time does everyone meet? Moon lake is one of the nicest places to ride and I'd like to thank all of the people who maintain the trails there.

mnbv1, the Wed ride is at 6pm, with the meet-up outside the front gate. People just park along the road. You have to meet there because they will close and lock the gate (if it hasn't been already) while you are out riding.

What a great day ! Glad to hear that everyone enjoyed themselves. I really enjoyed riding with everyone. Jeff took some great photos as usual. He and Dennis are going to be monsters on those new Tallboy's. Lee gets a huge pat on the back for keeping the trails in fantastic condition.

Burst out laughing when I read your post....Salli asked what was up....showed her and said Dave knows you pretty well!

.......Now that part about "for once i'm glad" .....i don't believe that for a minute.....

If anyone else had a camera out on their ride Sunday or Saturday....feel free to post up some pics on this thread....
