Lookin' good guys! Glad you had fun with some of the newer features up at Deacon. Nemesis is not done, you know Lee will keep building as long as we keep bringing materials. I am sorry that nobody told you to bring marshmallows for the fire today.
Nice pictures and write up....really gives a good perspective on what the Moon is like. That jet vid is wild....i have been there when a different rc jet has been there and it was just amazing to watch in person. Thanks for sharing your adventure.
There are two paths you can go by but in the long run........
Thanks for the kind words, guys. We'll have to hook up with some of you guys for the grand tour next time we come up cuz I know we've only scratched the surface of the wonderful Moon. The problem is it's usually a weekday when we go. Some more pix:
Anyone seen the Bald Eagles at the Moon? The security guards keep telling me about them. A male and female are nesting by the lake somewhere. I really want to see them, but they are being elusive...at least to me!!!
I took a walk over by the house and I heard one sounding off every once in a while, but I didn't see them. I want to see them, I want one of my dreams to come true. Since I know my other dream of winning the Ironman will never come true! LOL!
Motoman....If you really want to see eagles. take a drive along the Lackawaxen river (below the town of Hawley) in Jan. or Feb. It is a wintering area for bald eagles. One trip last year we saw about 30. There were 8 on one gravel bar in the river. quite a sight.
Finally back home, would have been nice to have been on that ride at the mOOn...
... thanks for the great pics! I spoke with Clif the park manager today and he wants me to print them out for him! He was very impressed with them and you showed how much fun the mOOn really is. Let us know when your coming back.
