New question here. Merli-Sarnoski aka Fell Mountain

Heading to Merli-Sarnoski (Fell Mountain) in Carbondale this Sunday. Haven't been there since last year. Wondering what type of condition the trails are in this season? Thanks

Jeff - I was just there yesterday. The trails are in their usual good condition; some of the wet areas tend to stay that way (the end of twister - just before it heads back out to the dirt road) are still a bit wet & muddy. The tough thing about the trails this time of year is all the leaves! More than a few times we would get going at a good pace and not be able to see where the trail leads.
but, it's still a great ride!!!

Thx Friar.....if you want to join us....

we should be there at approx. 10 am. Parking at the top near the soccer fields if we can drive up there....last year the bridge was washed out so we rode from the bottom after crossing the raging rapids! THx for the update on the trails.

Good job! Trails were in great condition on Sunday 10/31....

What a beautiful day at Fell Mountain, trails were is superb condition although there were a lot of leaves. It made it better for me, couldn't see what I was about to ride over made me less apprehensive. You should go! By the way ran into no other bikers in 3 hours. Saw only a couple of vehicles with bike racks in the lot at the end of ride!!!
