I received the following from Curt Shroders office (our local state representative) It is pretty self explanatory, but for those unfamiliar the Shryock property is at the north end of the Struble trail adjacent to Dorlan Mill road and Marsh creek state park (near the dam/spillway)
For those who have been pissing about loosing access to the north end access to the struble trail (and spillway access road) here is your chance to become active and make a diffrence.

For nearly 30 years, citizens of Chester County have hiked, biked, watched birds and picnicked along the Struble Trail, which runs along the Brandywine Creek through beautiful countryside. They have enjoyed the open space, the peace and tranquility of the trail, as well as the access it provides to great fishing spots along the East Branch of the Brandywine. Hikers routinely used a parking area on the property to gain access to the trailís north end until the Shryock property was sold in 2005. Preserving the Shryock property will allow expanded parking opportunities, tie in the trail to Marsh Creek State Park and save a vital greenway.
I urge you to attend a rally in support of efforts to save the Shryock property and Struble Trail. We have seen enough sprawl! Saving this property will protect and buffer Marsh Creek State Park and allow expansion of the northern end of Struble Trail. I am working with county and local officials on a proposal to purchase the property and have brought in the nationally renowned Natural Lands Trust to lead the effort. I urge you to join us for the rally and send a strong message to state, county and municipal officials: Save the 45 acre Shryock property, protect Marsh Creek State Park and extend Struble Trail.
