Stupid questions that are obvious, but I gotta ask them just in case maybe you looked over them.

Have you tried calling all your local shelters and rescues?

    Posted signs up?

Is she microchipped? If so, have you changed your phone number since you registered the chip? A call to Avid or whoever the microchip is registered with might be worth the attempt too...

Man I sure hate that anyone has to go through this. I really hope you get your girl back and that she's OK.

My gut says she's out on a looooonnnnggg walk and she'll be back - hang in there Dave, she'll be found. Takes time for a dog to give silly humans directions back to their home.

What really sucks is the fact that it didn't have to be this way. Why shoot a dog? I lost a dog on a gamelands once and that was my worst fear. Thankfully it did not come to that.

I am so sorry. I cannot understand this. Someone would shoot a dog? I would thoroughly enjoy five minutes with the idiot that did this.

Hey Dave, when the time comes to get a new dog please consider this: Home Page this is a very small org in NJ its actually where I got my dog Archer.
He was a shelter dog on Death row at 7mos old. He is now a terriffic trail dog livin large!
With the recent flooding in NY/NJ there are hundreds of animals in need of new homes.
    Just a consideration...
