Good job! Lackawanna SP & Countryside Conservancy

A small group of us rode the new Countryside Conservancy trails that interconnect with Lackawanna SP's existing trail network. Very nice setup. Give it a try sometime. Maps are available at state park but a warning is to prepare to explore as trails are not marked well and new trails are missing from the maps. Lots of variety in terrain.

... and if we just ... Ja Ja, Wie Gehts?.

Looks like you had a much more challenging crossing than we did, Am Abend!!!!! The crew up at LSP have done a very nice job of creating a great riding spot. I know you have done some work up there also, so thanks very much to you too. Georg is starting to like the mtn bike riding now that he has built up his tech skills. Auf Wiedersehen.

    Good job!

    Rob:

Sorry I didn't make it. We hit the H2H Race. One of our friends is moving to Minnesota so we hung out with him at the race since it's the last time we will see him. Good news is we sent him off with a NEPMTBA T-Shirt to show off at his new job at Quality Bike up there and we will have an inside guy for stuff!

Race was great! More and More... Rigid SS 29ers!

Jeff, the quarry and new conservancy land was all done in the winter by Joe Teirney. I just go up on the trail work days that he schedules and give him a hand and share ideas of ways to better the trails. I'm busy with Merli, Hubbard and now the 1,500 acres of The Natuer Concervancy's land too.

Speaking of TNC, have you heard anything latley Lee?

I've been saying I want to get up to Kingdom for the past 2 years and have yet to do so. Next year for sure and thanks for the invite. I'll prolly take you up on one of those trips. ttyl, Fahn

    Minnesota Off-Road Cyclists

Sounds like a great organization. Lackawanna SP and the Countryside Conservancy as well as all those that support them have done quite a bit to move mountain biking forward in our area of Pennsylvania. Looks like MORC is doing the same out in your state.
