Yes indeed! Sweet ride, except for that bear (not you, the real one) sighting in the dark which was a little unsettling..... plus I can't wait to tell my 'hunter' co-workers that we saw a nice buck not even 10 minutes into our ride. Great time!
It's been on my To Do list for quite a while Mr. Fahn, somehow I keep getting Monkey Wrenches thrown into my "move 20 minutes faster and find that danged barn" Thursday plans. {shrug}
You guys ever stop riding the mtn over there (hunting season, weather conditions, etc.)?
What a beautiful spot! Thanks for taking the camera to capture the moment. Hope the warm nights stick around for a few more weeks....but when they end we will keep riding....that bruin on Little Arbutus scared the sh!t out of me! To think..... I rode that exact same ride on Tuesday night alone...gives me the willys. Lucky we were headed uphill.....if we were ripping down Tattoo Alley we would have rode right into him!
There are two paths you can go by but in the long run........
Hubbard is a must do....if you can't make a thursday night....checkout their forums...they have rides posted pretty much every weekend for classics like Moosic Mountain Conservatory, Lackawanna State Park, Merli-Sarnoski(aka Fell Mtn), and Prompton Dam...
IMHO....the people make the "Hubbard" experience.....incredibly positive and fun loving....here are a few old pics from rides with them...
