    Hunting Rules at French Creek

I want to ride French Creek on October 28th. Can someone give me a run down of the hunting rules in PA? I dont want to get shot.

wear some bright colored clothing and stay on marked trails. as a biker there really arent any rules that you have to abide by when it comes to riding during hunting season. however you should use common sense. check out the French Creek map, it will show you the areas of the park that are open to hunting http://www.dcnr.state.pa.us/statepar...creek_mini.pdf.

That's good advice - but the 28th is a Sunday. No hunting in state parks or gamelands on sundays. Wear orange if you like, but it's not mandatory...

Further, the chances of a rider being mistaken for a turkey are pretty slim.

Seasons (per Dan's reply to another thread):

    turkey until Nov 17
    bear 17th-21st
    deer (archery) 15-24th
    deer (rifle) 26-Dec 8
