Idea! Howl Ween at da mOOn 10/31/12

Since Halloween falls on a Wednesday...
...this year we will have a special mOOn ride.

Who's up for a nice night ride then food at the Grotto in the Edwardsville shopping center? I thought about a cookout, but we don't know what the weather will be(remember the snow storm last October?) and let's let someone else do the cooking... LOL

To be more festive bring a carved or regular pumpkin before the ride, and we will place them in a bit on Nature's Way 1 trail.

If ya wanna wear a costume, your choice...
...post up if your coming, so we can get a head count

hey lee. no i havent really found any trails yet. closest place is ridley creek but they dont allow bikes on non-paved trails which is a shame because they are perfect singletracks.

i hear french creek and marsh creek are 2 good ones but havent got there yet.

French creek is pretty rocky but rideable. I work about 3 miles away from there during the week. Ill get a ride in there when I don't come home to Hazleton during the week. Marsh creek is really nice flowing ssingle track. Not too many rocks but some ups and downs. As for reading you are probably thinking of mount Penn. I've never been there but here there is something for every one.
    LOVE THE RIDE!

I have raced at Marsh Creek. I think you will like it there. I have a pic or two I'll see if I can find them later.

Looks like we are recycling this thread, since there was no interest in riding da mOOn for Halloween...LOL
