    Hour From Pitts.

    So what good trails are within an hour from Pittsburgh. NOT including 7 springs....looking for not just reg ol Xcountry, looking for some jumps, drops, dh stuff like that. any im looking for riding partners too. gonna be going to rays here in november sometime so anyone say ROAD TRIP haha, not really cuz its not that far but still. PM me or reply on this post if you wanna ride or know of places to ride.

    your not gonna find much downhill/freeride type stuff here in Southwestern PA. your best bet is to drive a little further south to either Snowshoe in WV or Wisp in Maryland, both of these ski resorts have way better downhill riding than 7 Springs.

    or head on down to Laurel Mountain State Park, the terrain there is kinda flat so you can get away with riding a long travel bike and the trails there are pretty technical. you can find some pretty nice descents near the old ski resort. the Speedgoat bike shop guys ride Laurel all the time, you can always ride along with those guys.
