Tell me about it! At work I tell everyone I wish it was 20* w/ 2' of fresh powder. I'm already thinking of where I want to plan a trip to next season. Any Ideas? Fahn

    Lots of great choices....

    hmm lets see....

locally(driving distance)...Jay Peak on a Powder Weekend(ok anywhere on a powder weekend!) .......or maybe Le Massif in Quebec Province...

    Out west.....UTAH...Snowbasin and Powder Mtn

Anyone else have some favorites...there are so many good places to ski.

I went to Sugarbush this year and it was great. Heavenly last year. So awesome. Jay is great though. Love the trees.

The Boat with freshies is real hard to beat. Certainly not the steepest, but man is that snow FANTASTIC.

My best memory of the Boat was 4 years ago, went out over Mardi Gras week. On Fat Tuesday, it started dumping. Visibility was 0, had to get off the mtn. The next day was bluebird and 34" of the finest powder I've ever been in. Top of Pioneer Ridge was armpit deep. I'm 6-2. That day was better than the time 12 years ago at Targhee where we got 98" in 48 hours...and trust me, that was fanfuggintastic.

Never had freshies every day there, but I'd like to.

All- Some great ski stories....just reminding me of more good times...STeamboat...2 trips out there both times were fantastic...also Targhee....2 trips out there(Jackson was primary location) but hit it 2 times it was so good....remember these long trails toward the bottom that followed creek beds...we called them rat holes...up down..around...amazing..also the cliffs at Targhee....thx for sharing the stories....

It's funny that you can say "fat tuesday" on hear and I'm sure everyone knows what you mean...

The week I was there (just last feb) each day except one it snowed at least 22". I was actually happy when it didn't snow the one day, because it was blue skies, and you could see where you were going! The far upper part of the mt., like North Saint Pats was freaking amazing! Can't wait to go back!

Did any of you go to the hot springs while you were in the Boat?

Fly to Reno, NV and hit the north Lake Tahoe resorts. Alpine Meadows, Squaw, Northstar and a bunch of smaller resorts will keep you busy for a week long trip. Great skiing and night life too.

Total of 41 days in the Wasatch this year spread amongst the Canyons, Alta, Snowbird, Snowbasin, and Solitude. Not that I want to brag or anything... Cuz I'm getting ready to move back East and I'm depressed about it. That is all.

Now get some biking vids up! Summer is just getting going

Shots from A-Basin. Off of Palli chair. Mid February. For three days after these pics it dumped nearly a foot and a half per day.

Shot of the new Zuma bowl that opened this year at A-Basin. Mid March.
