Seriously. This has been the best mother nature cooperation for march/april/may that I can remember. Just hope it doesn't rain for the entire month of june like last year.

The cell call worked wonders...although I did have to plant the garden before I could eat.

Here is the cell phone call pic...

.....the cell phone call pic..... is the tried and true "call ahead of time to say your gonna be out much longer than anticpated" versus the guaranty to get you in trouble..."i forgot to call, i had no cell service" line when you show up 2 hours later than you said ride would take.

"The cell call worked wonders...although I did have to plant the garden before I could eat."

    Too Funny!

What I like, and have seen, is the amount of new riders that are starting to show up on everyone's rides. It showed in my sales...for the first time in my 17 years of running the shop, Mountain Bikes and their related accessories outsold the BMX stuff, and the repairs are out the door crazy. That to me shows that the sport is growing, wether it be along the lines of the more advanced riders or even the recreational style users. The weather definitly played a part in it, and although we have some really wild variations in the weather the past few weeks, there is no denying that we went "Green" about 3 weeks ahead of schedule this season thanks to the warm April that we had.

Let's all hope it continues, this can go down as one of the best riding seasons ever.
