    Geisinger trails

How well do the geisinger trails handle water? Thinking about running up tomorrow after work and checking them out.
Just another redneck with a bike

Almost everything there is inclined or on a ridge. Very little places to hold water or get swampy. After today's downpour there will be greasy areas and puddles, but if it stays nice for 24 hrs it should be pretty nice conditions on like 80-90% of trails or more.
You better just go ahead and drop that seatpost down to the reflector... the trail gets pretty rough down there.

    Cool-blue Rhythm

The whole mountain is the dirty yellow red shale left over from the iron mining, it can be slick as the shale slides off itself, but not a real problem.

The only place I see water is on the roads in the form of puddles, the rest drains right off.

Where are are these trails at Geisinger that you speak of? How do you access them?

I would really like to check these trails out before winter.
Just have to get myself away from Roaring Creek.
